Week 21 (January, 19th to January, 22nd):

 This week, we learned…

Kindergarten :
We started to learn 8 body parts : la tête (head), les épaules (shoulders), les genoux (knees), les pieds (feet), les yeux (eyes), les oreilles (ears), la bouche (mouth), le nez (nose).
We also learned a new song : “Tête, épaules et genoux, pieds” (Heads, shoulders, knees and feet).

1st grade :
We counted from 1 to 20 and we did some listening comprehension. Here is a link if you want to count with your child:

2nd  grade:
We continued to learn how to count from 1 to 20, and we made operations in French.

Homework due on Monday, January 25th: Memorize how to count from 1 to 20 (out loud).
Homework due on Thursday, January 28th: Memorize how to count from 1 to 20 (out loud).

Numbers : Zéro, un deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix, onze, douze, treize, quatorze, quinze, seize, dix-sept, dix-huit, dix-neuf, vingt.

3rd  grade:
We started to learn what we like at school with the following sentences : “J’aime (I like)… aller à l’école (to go to school), singing (chanter), être avec des copains (to be with friends (boys)), être avec des copines (to be with friends (girls)), compter (counting), dessiner (drawing), reciter des poésies (reciting poems), faire du sport (doing sports), lire (reading).”

Homework due on Tuesday, January 26th: Memorize how to count from 1 to 20 (out loud).
Homework due on Friday, January 29th: Memorize how to count from 1 to 20 (out loud).
