Week 32 (April, 11^th  to April, 15^th ):

This week, we learned…

Kindergarten :

We played with our 5 adjectives : “grand” (tall), “gros” (big), petit (small), pretty (joli), laid (ugly), and wrote them in our notebook. We continued to learn our song “Promenons-nous dans les bois” (Let’s wander in the woods).

1st grade :

We continued to learn the different rooms in a house: la cuisine (kitchen), la chambre (bedroom), la salle de bains (bathroom), le salon (sitting-room), la salle à manger (dining-room), le jardin (backyard). We started to sing a new song “Il était un petit homme” (Once upon a time a little man).

2^nd  grade:

We continued to learn the different rooms in a house: la cuisine (kitchen), la chambre (bedroom), la salle de bains (bathroom), le salon (sitting-room), la salle à manger (dining-room), le jardin (backyard).

Homework due on Monday, April 18^th: Be able to answer (written answer) : “J’habite dans une maison”, “J’habite dans un appartement”, “J’habite à la montagne”, “J’habite à la campagne”, “J’habite en ville”, “J’habite à la mer”

Homework due on Thursday, April 21^st: Know 3 French words :  “une chambre” ( a bedroom), “une salle de bains” (a bathroom), “une salle à manger” (a dining room)

3rd  grade:
